Obituary of Aiyana Joy Marie Washburn

Aiyana Joy Marie Washburn February 3rd at 12:07p-12:24p Just 17 minutes after coming into the world, our little angel, Aiyana Joy Marie Washburn passed away peacefully at the Abbott Northwestern hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Born nearly a month early and weighing only 4lbs, 2 oz, Aiyana was born with a severe genetic disorder (Trisomy 18) and was not expected to make it to term but she managed to live long enough to be held and cuddled by her mother and father as she passed peacefully away. Aiyana had beautiful blue-gray eyes and dark brown curly hair. Aiyana joins her great-grandmothers', Lula Lile and Lura Durham; her great-grandfathers, Wallace Durham, Luther Sheffield; and her great uncle, Mike Durham; and uncles, Cody and Mathew Washburn; and aunt, Hope Washburn in heaven. She is survived by her mother and father, Anthony Washburn and Kristen Durham; her brother, Rylan Warner; her sister, Maliyah Washburn; her grandparents, Rick and Sandra Durham, Thomas Washburn and Jackie Lepage and grandfather, Henry Ducos. A private ceremony will be held for family and friends later this summer.
