Obituary of Brian H. Erickson

ERICKSON, Brian H., age 52 of St. Louis Park, passed away on Feb. 8, 2018. He will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Sam Annala; cherished sons, Nate and Christian; beloved parents, Donn and Jinny; brothers, James and Dean; many nieces, nephews, relatives and good friends. To be loved by Brian was to know true love, friendship, and community. He is an amazing and attentive son – one who calls his parents daily just to check in and say “I love you.” The best father – one that lives every moment for his two sons and has dedicated his life to helping them live up to their potential. His love for Sammy is endless and they shared the passions of life and experienced a rare precious gift in their partnership. As a brother and uncle, Brian had the gift of being present and making you feel as if you were the most important person in the world. His faith is strong. We trust in God to keep him until we meet again. Our love for Brian, our champion, is with him always. All events will be held at Fridley United Methodist, 680 Mississippi St. NE, Fridley, MN (763-571-1526). Visitations will be held Wednesday, 2/21 from 6-9 pm and Thursday, 2/22 10-11 am. The Celebration of Life will be Thursday, 2/22 11-noon followed by lunch. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by the family for a perpetual college scholarship fund and the Fridley Moving Forward Fund created to honor Brian’s passions and generosity.
