Obituary of Linda Lee Lomker

Preceded in death by “ma” Francis Kiphuth and brother Gordy Kiphuth. Survived by loving husband of 51 years Bruce. Children: Julie, Kirk (Jeff), and Erick. Grandchildren: Heather, Kayla, Tonya, Shane, Jared, Austin, and Jordy (Becky). Great-grandkids: Lance, Haley, Angel, Clayton and one more due July 4th. Father Lewis Kiphuth. Mother Beverly Scott. Siblings: Gerald (Mellissa), Sandy (Larry), Leroy (Chantelle), Leora (Lonnie), Leila (Rick) William (Elaine), Judy and Debbie. She has many other family members and friends. She worked at John Deere for 30+ years in the parts department before retiring. Linda was an avid trap shooter and was top woman shooter for many years. She has many trophies that she got throughout the years. She always told Bruce that he better behave. She would say “Bb’s travel 1300 feet per second and you can’t run fast enough.” Linda was the first female member of the Hampton Sportsman’s Club. Linda kept a list of many of the clubs and their merchandise shoots. The list contained all the dates and times for shoots, addresses, phone numbers and even directions to the clubs. People throughout the state new about mom’s list and would request to be on the email chain for updates. She even had clubs call her and request their information to be included in the list. Linda and Bruce traveled extensively throughout the country and loved visiting relatives across the States. They went on many fishing trips to Lake Michigan and around the state of Minnesota. They accumulated over 300,000 miles on their old suburban. Linda participated in chili cook offs first at John Deere then at various gun clubs. She would routinely win first place. Her last contest was January 28th and she took 2nd place. Celebration of Life for Linda will be held June 16th at noon at the West End Gun Club located at 4899 Brooklyn Lane in Eagan, MN 55123 Memorials preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
