Obituary of Jody Lynn Sander-Berg

Jody Lynn Sander-Berg, 64, passed away on February 18 at the Solvay House in Duluth. She was the wife of Curtis Sander-Berg. They shared 41 years of marriage together. Born in Minneapolis, she was the daughter of Fred and Jean (Nelson) Sander. Jody attended Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis. She retired from Century Link after 46 years where she held many titles. Jody loved gardening, taking boat rides on Lake Superior, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a proud mother who embodied strength of character, sincerity, and moral integrity. Jody is survived by her husband, Curtis; daughters, Allison (Chad) Reetz and Emily (Joe) Hennessy; sisters, Deb (Dan) Sullivan and Tracy (Jim) Juul; brothers, Thomas, Michael, and Anthony (Abby); and a stepmother, Bea (Sander). She had 5 beautiful grandchildren, Alexa (9), Addison (7), Adon (2) Hennessy and Ari (4), Oliver (2) Reetz; and several nieces and nephews. Jody is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jill. Memorial donations may be made to the Achalasia Awareness Foundation, 11 Hampton Meadows Drive, Bonaire, GA 30105 to benefit her granddaughter or donor's choice.
