Obituary of Lila Emily Sershon

Lila Emily Sershon (Salmi), age 77, passed away Feb. 18, 2018 joining her beloved husband Thomas in heaven. Lila is survived by her children, Gary Sershon, Susan Chandler and Sharon (Brian) Knox: grandchildren, Sophia & Nicholas Chandler, and Blake, Mason & Zachary Knox; sisters, Lillian Larva & Vivian (John) Cartier. Lila was born July 17,1940 in Kettle River, MN. She spent her working career with St. Louis County Land Dept. until retirement in 1999. Her post retirement was spent with her beloved husband of 55 years, grandchildren, and pursuing her passion for gardening and art. Gathering of family and friends from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service Tuesday, Feb. 27 in the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, 4100 Grand Ave., Duluth, with a reception to follow. The family would like to thank the staff of New Perspective and St. Croix Hospice for their care and dedication.
