Obituary of Irving L. Nielsen

Irving L. "Irv" Nielsen, age 84 of Richfield, MN, died on Feb. 19, 2018 from Parkinson's Disease. Survived by: his wife of 59 years Mary, daughter AJ/Annie, son Peter (Jill), grandsons Zachary, Jeffery and Carter. Brothers; Roger (Vicki), Gary (Fran), Walter (Kay), nieces and nephews plus many dear friends. Preceded in death by his youngest son John. A special thank you to the staff at the Geneva Suites Braeburn for the loving care they gave Irv and his family. A celebration of his life will be held March 10th, 1pm at Mayflower Church, 106 E. Diamond Lake Rd. in Minneapolis. Family gathering 1 hour prior to service. Memorials in Irv's name may be made to The University YMCA, Mayflower Church or The Parkinson's Foundation of MN Respite Program.
