Obituary of Roger Rodness

Roger Rodness, age 80, of Clarkfield, MN, died Wednesday February 28, 2018. Roger was born in Clarkfield MN January 10, 1938. He graduated from Clarkfield High School, Augustana University in Sioux Falls South Dakota, and the the University of Minnesota Law School. Roger worked in the computer field, and was employed by Univac, West Publishing, and the State of Minnesota. Roger enjoyed cars, road trips, and music. He will be remembered for his humor, great conversations, and wide ranging knowledge. Preceded by his parents Irene (Christensen) and Clarence Rodness, sister Avis (Rodness) Tait. He is survived by life partner Diane Anderson, nephews Christopher Tait, Andrew (Megan Sutton) Tait, their sons Jasper and Ellis, Timothy (Vanusa) Tait, their son Bryon, bother-in-law Kevin Tait, and many cousins and friends. At Roger’s request there will be no service but a scattering of his ashes will take place this spring.
