Obituary of Andrea “Andy” Dahl

Andrea "Andy" (Eklof) Dahl, age 78, of Mound, MN passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2018 with her family by her side after complications from a stroke. Andy was born in Minneapolis, MN to Gertrude and Erling Eklof. She married Ronald Dahl, her high school sweetheart on January 4th, 1958 and together they raised six children. She was a 1957 graduate of Mound High School and continued to play a large role in her community. Andy lived her life with a positive attitude, a kind heart, and happy smile. Andrea is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ronald Dahl; and youngest son Brian Dahl. She is survived by her sister, Janet Vandal; brother Gary (Cathy) Eklof; daughter Brenda McCartney; daughter Jean Dahl; son Rick Dahl; son Randy (Kim) Dahl; son Greg (Cheryl) Dahl; her grandchildren Stephanie Alzamora, Ellie Dahl, Kelsey McCartney, Reid Dahl, Evan Dahl, and Jack Dahl; her great-grandchildren Rio and Luna Alzamora; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10th, 2018 at 11 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3745 Shoreline Drive, Wayzata, MN with visitation one hour prior. A private interment will be held in early spring.
