Obituary of Beatrice Virginia Milinovich

Beatrice V. Milinovich, 96, of Duluth passed away peacefully at Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Proctor. Bea was born in Duluth to Bert and Florence Quaderer. She graduated from Denfeld High School and continued her education at Duluth State Teachers College. Bea married Joseph Milinovich on June 21, 1948. Bea had a career as an educator in Hibbing and enriched the minds and lives of many Minnesota students. She was a member of St. Kevin's Catholic Church in Pengilly, volunteered crocheting baby hats for newborns, reading to young students, traveled extensively and was a "card shark". Bea was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe and son-in-law Robert. She will be sadly missed by her children Paula, Patrick(Kris), Jack(Denise), Joe(Laurie), Herman(Megan), Sarah(Lisa); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family sincerely thanks the staff at Diamond Willow World Traveler for the most excellent and compassionate care for Bea throughout her stay. A celebration of life for Bea is planned for June 23, 2018 from Noon to 2:00 pm at the Crown Ballroom in Hibbing. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota in Duluth.
