Obituary of Richard G. Murphy

Murphy, Richard G "Rick" age 64, passed away on March 17, 2018. Born in St. Paul and raised in Bloomington, MN. Preceded in death by daughter, Tara and parents. Survived by loving wife of 43 years Pam; daughter, Kristi (Willie); precious grandchildren, McKenzie & Cooper; sister, Pat. Along with sister/brother in laws and many nieces and nephews also family friend, Ruth. Rick was a proud member of the Eagan Fire Department for 20 years; and retired from Met Council Environmental Services after 36 years of service. Rick loved traveling to Mexico and will be missed by many friends he made in Ixtapa and Mazatlan. Forever in our hearts until we meet again. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21st from 5-7 pm at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S., Edina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Ave., Rosemount, on Thursday, March 22nd at 11 am with a visitation one hour prior at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
