Obituary of Geraldine Ondov

Geralding Ondov (Geri) 96 of Park Rapids Minnesota, went to be with Jesus October 1, 2014 at the home of her Step Daughter Yvonne (Don) Goodmansion. She was born on March 27th 1918 to Irving Belmont Eldridge & Evelyn Marion Eldridge (Sears) in Wareham Mass. Preceded in death by parents, sister Allison Elinor Chase, husband John M. Ondov, 2 children daughter Merry Lee Laughlin, son Robert G. Carlson & Stepson John A. Ondov. Survived by 4 step daughter, Yvonne Goodmanson (Don), Kathy Yurista, Paula Ondov, & Nancy Ondov. Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, & 2 Great Great Grandchildren, 2 brothers in laws Jim (Nancy) Ondov, Raymond Ondov, & 2 sister in laws Dorothy Nieting, & Muriel Ondov. Once nience, Teena Richards. Geri Was a Registered nurse, graduating from Faulkner School of Nursing in Boston, Ma. She moved to Tucson Az. In 1947 and worked at Tucson Medical Center until her retirement in 1980. 2013 she moved to Park Rapids Minnesota to live with her stepdaughter Yvonne & husband Don. During her retirement she remained active in TMC history / museum, a member of TMC alumni. An avid Knitter, made many blankets for Grandchildres, Great Grandchildren, many for Ronald McDonal house & babies in Africa. A memorial service will to held at Thurs. October 9th 2014 at Lakeside Christian Church 16623 State Hwy. 87 Park Rapids. Internment at a later date at South Lawn in Tucson.
