Obituary of Ronald E. Vargo

Ronald E. Vargo passed away unexpectedly Friday morning August 31st. Ron was born in Somerset, WI the son of Caroline and James. He grew up on his family farm along with his six siblings (Jimmy, Joe, Kenny, Shirley, Betty and Robert) and graduated from Somerset High school. He served in the military and spent most of his career working for the US Postal Service. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, volunteering, fishing, keeping up with current events, walking, activities with friends and occasional casino road trips. He had a love of adventure and was always ready to travel and try new things. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 35 years, Mary Katherine (Kathy), whom he adored. He is survived by his daughter Malissa (Bob), son Jason (Michael), and two beautiful grandchildren Rosalie and Soren, brothers (Kenny and Robert), sisters (Shirley and Betty), sisters-in-law and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at RosePointe Senior Living in Roseville on September 8th from 2pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RosePointe.
