Obituary of Carol Ann Edling

Edling, Carol Ann. Carol was born May 31, 1937 to Charles N. and Grace Gerber. She passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the age of 77. She attended Abbott Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. She was a nurse for over 50 years. She is survived by partner Patricia A. Olson; brother Paul (Mary Jo) Gerber; daughter Lisa (Wayne) Wert; sons Scott (Carol) Edling, Stephen (Stacy) Edling; niece Jennifer Scofield; her grandchildren: Stephanie (Conrad) Borgerding, Andrew, Nicholas, Mitchell and Jillian Edling; many extended family and friends as well. In lieu of flowers, donations requested for Calvary Lutheran Church food shelf or the Friends of the Library. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to have known her.
