Coal Richard Goette, age 25, of Silver Bay, MN passed away on November 3, 2014.

Coal had a love for running and for the outdoors. He had a great sense of humor and a smile that could light up a room. He had different types of laughter, depending on if he was being sweet or mischievous. Coal had a magnanimous personality. He was extremely intelligent and could talk to you on any level. He loved people and could make a friend with anybody. His smile, his presence, his words and his hug instantly and always made the world a better place.

He is survived by his son, Braylon Timothy Richard Goette; parents Richard and Shawn Goette; sisters Amity Goettl, Angelina Horne; brothers Paul Goettl , Joshua Horne ; grandparents, Gwen Ronhovde (Robert), Harold and Marie Paulseth, Clarence and Millie Goette; adopted grandma, Sherry Thompson; nieces and nephews, Riley, Oliver and Miles; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Coals family will be celebrating his life with a private ceremony.
