Mark P. Ceminsky Obituary

Mark P. Ceminsky, 38, Of Grand Marais, MN passed unexpectedly on Sunday November 9th 2014. Mark was born in St. Paul, MN the oldest of three children born to Jane and Dave Ceminsky.


Mark grew up in Duluth and graduated from East High School in 1994. Mark worked for Ridgeview Country Club during his High School years. He then began a career with North Star Ford, working as a technician for many years. Everyone who knew Mark realized he was an avid outdoorsman. He held his first fishing rod at 1 day old and fishing and hunting became a life long passion. Mark fulfilled his passion on Lake Saganaga, where he began fishing at the age of 12. He most recently resided at the end of the Gunflint Trail working for Voyageur Canoe Outfitters. Mark often said he was most at peace, while living in the surroundings he so loved. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents Mark and MaryAnn Ceminsky and grandfather Gregory Sheehy.


He is survived by his parents Dave and Jane Ceminsky, one sister Jodie (Chris) Suomala, one brother Michael. grandmother Regina Sheehy, nephew Cailen Suomala, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.


Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday November 15th at Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave. Duluth. Visitation will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m. until the time of service .
