Robert Paul Selle, Age 95, of White Bear Lake, passed away at home November 11, 2014. Survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Shirley; children Linda Holmes, Nancy (Kevin) Welsh, Rick (Connie); grandchildren Kristin, Jeff, Karen, David, Jim, and 7 great grandchildren.

A proud Army Veteran, Bob received both the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart while serving in WWII.

Bob retired from the St. Paul Pioneer Press after a successful career in advertising sales. A lifelong horseman, Bob gladly rode in the St. Paul Winter Carnival Parade.

Bob was known for his devotion to his wife, love of family, his generosity, strong faith (lifelong member of Maplewood Covenant Church), and was a great storyteller.

Bob, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa – our love and memory of you will live in our hearts forever.

Memorial Service for immediate family will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
