Drott, Lois Kuehling
90, of North Oaks, MN and formerly Wausau, passed away on November 21, 2014. Lois was born December 17, 1923 in Merrill, WI to H.H. Kuehling and Minna Pophal Kuehling. She was a graduate of Tomahawk High School. Lois was married to Edward Drott June 19, 1943 in Tomahawk, WI. Lois was treasurer of The LOED Corporation and was very active in and served on numerous nonprofit boards including the Wausau Area Chamber of Commerce, Children’s Service Society of WI, Visiting Nurses Society, The United Way, The Red Cross, WI Society of Human Concerns and the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church and Aspirus Wausau Hospital Volunteers. She enjoyed traveling, creative needlepoint and knitting. Survived by husband, Edward; daughter, Christina (Michael) Huck of Minneapolis; granddaughter, Julie (Jim Gilsenan) Huck of Minneapolis; grandson, Chip Huck of Truckee, CA; great granddaughter, Maya Gilsenan; great grandson, Max Gilsenan; and nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harlan (Rita) Kuehling of Tomahawk, WI.
