Age 98, of Spring Park, formerly of Edina, passed away peacefully October 12, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 62 years, Jeanne; brothers, Joseph and Douglas; sisters, Lucille Schiff, Dorothy Ommen and Maxine Couglin. Survived by daughter, Jeannine Evenson (Ron); sons, Jack “Butch” (Sandy) and Jeff (Kathy); four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Anita Borgman. Memorial service will be Friday, May 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, Historic Ft. Rd., Ft. Snelling, MN 55111 with gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery 12:30 PM
