Obituary of Dale Richard Bye

Dale R. Bye, 57, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Hennepin Medical Center in Minneapolis. He was born April, 24, 1957, in Devils Lake, N.D., to Richard O. and Marjorie J. Bye. Dale graduated from Westby High School. He went on to get degrees at UW-La Crosse and Iowa City, Iowa. He is survived by his parents; four brothers, Donald of Green Bay, Wis., Bruce and Jeff of Westby, and Steve of Iowa City; two sisters, Kathy of La Crosse, and Kristi Murtz of Holmen; five nieces; four nephews; and his lifetime partner, Chris Zickrick. He enjoyed his DJ work at various places in La Crosse. He took pride in his charity work for Red Ribbon Family and Breast Cancer Research. His final resting place will be at Greenfield Cemetery in Kellog, Minn.
