Obituary of Doris Ann Soderlund

Doris Ann Soderlund (Penglase) formally of Cambridge passed away on March 27, 2018 at the Silver Bay Vets Home at the age of 91 years old. Born as Edna Mae Brown she was adopted at an early age to Russell and Hazel (Smith)Penglase of Virginia, MN. She married William Soderlund in 1954 and raised 6 children. She enjoyed playing piano, shopping, listening to music, cats and dogs. She is preceded in death by her husband William Soderlund, son Davey, sister-in-law Mary Austed. Doris is survived by her children, Jim Penglase, Terri Stokes, Dale Soderlund, Robert Soderlund, Debra Niemela, Scott (Rita) Soderlund; 10 grandkids; 12 great grandkids; brother’s Ed Brown and Jim Reber; many nieces and nephews from the Korpi and Randall families. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 7th 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Minnesota Veteran’s Home in Silver Bay, 45 Banks Blvd., Silver Bay, MN.
