Obituary of Elizabeth W. Cartwright

Cartwright, Elizabeth W. Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 97. Born in Alexandria, MN. Childhood years in Dillon, MT. As a teenager, family moved to Morris, MN, where she met her future husband, Paul Cartwright. Preceded in death by parents Otis & Mary Wedum, brother Everett (Marion), brother-in-law David (Carol) Cartwright & husband Paul. Charter member of WHAMS (Washburn High Athletic Moms). Took great pride in her family, friends, Church (Richfield Lutheran), University of MN, and related activities. Dearly loved their Northern MN lake home on Lake Washburn, their retirement homes in Sun City & 7500 York Ave. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother, great grandmother, friend & role model with a great sense of humor. Survived by her sons Paul (Donna), Bill (Eileen); grandchildren Tammy (T.R.) Sarp, Sean (Elaine) Cartwright, Holly Guitare, Kyle (Erin) Cartwright, Todd (Kami) Cartwright, Debbie Olson & Sarah Cartwright and 11 great grandchildren. Will be greatly missed by all. Elizabeth will be laid to rest alongside her husband of 70 years, Paul, in Morris, MN. Memorials can be made to Mt. Olivet Nursing Home, Grace Hospice or Richfield Lutheran Church.
