Obituary of Steven Dean Van Slooten

Van Slooten, Steven Steven Dean Age 68 of Mpls. passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 28, 2018. Owner of Steven Dean Tailors for over 40 years. Steven loved the arts, his lake home, dogs, and cherished his family and friends. Steven was thankful to marry his partner of 46 years, Norman. Preceded in death by father, Melvin; brother-in-law, Gary Faaborg. Survived by husband, Norman Sivesind; mother, Joyce Van Slooten; siblings, Cindy Faaborg, Peggy (Ralph) Garbe and Robert (Margaret) Van Slooten; nieces and nephews. A celebration of Steven’s life will be held Monday, April 2nd, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm with a service of remembrance at 1:30 pm at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave. South, Mpls. “His gentle spirit will be missed.”
