Obituary of David R. Jones

Jones, David R. Age 90, of Golden Valley, MN, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones Dec. 13, 2014. Dave was born Sept. 19, 1924, the son of David R.D. Jones, Sr. and Lucy Baxter in Santa Monica, CA. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Hamilton and brother, William Jones. Dave was a WWII veteran, a graduate of UCLA, a long-time engineer at Honeywell followed by retirement and a 2nd career at Menard's. Best winters in later life were spent in Santa Barbara with cousin Joyce, walking the beach and shelling. Survived by daughters Sharon (Greg), Shirley, Royce (Brian) and son Bill (Cindy); grandchildren Dawn, Aaron, Zoe (Brett), Jean, Pat (Michelle), Nick, Andy (Chris) and great-grandchildren Basyl, Briana, Sarah, Christian and Oliver.
