Obituary of Joan R. Peterson

Peterson, Joan R. (Jo) age 92, of Friendship Village, Bloomington, MN, passed away December 15, 2014. Jo was born on October 23, 1922, in Minneapolis to Eugene and Suzanne Roberts, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her was husband, John. She is survived by sons, John (Carole) and Mark; grandchildren, Danica, Shane (Michelle), Andrew (Laura), and Julie (Jake) Fruhlinger; as well as eight great-grandchildren; sister, Suzanne (Robert) Janssen; brother, Eugene "Bud" (Pam) Roberts; and many nieces & nephews.Jo will be truly missed by family and many, many friends. She'll be remembered for her love of parties, bridge, travel, and all things social. We wish to thank the staff at Friendship Village and Methodist Hospital Hospice for their care. A memorial service will be held on January 8, 2015, at 4:00 PM at Friendship Village in Bloomington. Memorials to Friendship Village Employee Appreciation Fund.
