Obituary of Dinh Van Nguyen

Nguyen, Dinh Van Age 65, of Eagan, MN joined the angels in heaven on December 20, 2014 after a courageous 4-year battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the South Vietnam Navy from 1969-1975. After the Vietnam War, he immigrated to the United States in 1975 where he was sponsored by the Presbyterian Church of the Apostles in Burnsville, Minnesota. He studied ESL at Burnsville High School and then continued his education at Dakota County Area Vocational Technical Institute where he acquired the skills to become a long-time, dedicated employee of 3M. A special thank you to everyone who helped him along his journey. His family extends their gratitude and appreciation to the AMAZING doctors, nurses, and staff at Minnesota Oncology, Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Allina Hospice, and Apple Valley Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Kim, children Katherine (Kevin), Tina (Nick), Kelly (Nick), and five grandchildren.
