Obituary of Elizabeth M. ‘Beth’ Ploog

Ploog, Elizabeth M. 'Beth' Age 68 of Minneapolis, passed away on Sept. 1, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by parents Bernice and Hugh (Bud) Ploog. Survived by brother Frank (Gayle) and sister Meg (Dave Hirsch); daughter Amanda Campbell and sons Michael Braun (Jill) and Thomas Braun (Jennifer); grandchildren Quinn, Hadley and Harper; four nieces and three nephews. All who knew Beth were touched by her kind and gentle heart, warm spirit and giving nature. She enjoyed reading, casino trips, sending greeting cards, family dinners and playing 500 at Eagle Bay Lodge, her family's beloved annual summer vacation spot for the last 39 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11 AM. Visitation at 10 AM prior to Mass at Church of the Holy Name, 3637 11th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55407. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Church of the Holy Name c/o Amanda Campbell.
