Obituary of Elaine Carol Kalli

Kalli, Elaine Carol 71, of Bloomington, MN, died on 12/29/14 after a brief illness. She was retired after a career in the mortgage industry. Survived by mother, Toini Aho; brother, Marvin Aho (Yvonne); sister, Edith Houck (Brian); children, Kimberly (Sharon), Keith (Linda), Kevin, and Kristian; beloved granddaughter, Kiana; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Karl Robert Kalli; father, Leonard Aho. Elaine was an independent, strong woman who loved her family and to travel. She treasured the time she spent with Kiana. She had a lifelong trust that "when it's your time to go, it's your time to go", and although it was far too early for the rest of us, she did it her way...as usual. Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Fri., 1/2/15 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina, MN. Visitation 1:30 p.m. Reception will follow until 4:30 p.m. Private interment next to her husband in the spring. Memorials are preferred to the family.
