Obituary of Arthur L. Elliott

Arthur L. Elliott, 68, of Duluth, died Wednesday Dec. 31 2014. Arthur was born on November 18, 1946 in Duluth to the late Philip and Gertrude Elliott. Art was a graduate of Duluth Central High School in 1964. He worked as a machinist for much of his adult life. Art spent much of his time later in life volunteering to deliver meals on wheels and calling bingo at the Morgan Park Community Center. Arthur enjoyed motorcycles, Jeopardy, bingo, cribbage at the community center, and eating sweets when no one was looking. He was preceded in death by one daughter Kathy Wigington. Those who loved and shared his life are his wife Rosemary Elliott (Emanuel); son Philip (Leah) Elliott of Albertville MN; daughters Anne (Michael) Tinsley of South Range WI, Sherry Payuer of Duluth, Debbie (Trevor) Maciejeski of Duluth, Tonya Mayo of Cottage Grove; along with 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday January 8, 2015 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota 4100 Grand Ave Duluth. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Morgan Park Senior Center. A light luncheon will be held 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. at the Morgan Park Community Center 1242 88th Ave W.
