Obituary of Maxine A. Sanders

Sanders, Maxine A. age 98, of Friendship Village in Bloomington, MN, passed away peacefully on Jan. 1, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles. Maxine is survived by daughters Marjorie (Bob) Rissler and Carol Neumann and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Maxine lived life to the fullest. She had a generous and loving heart and will be deeply missed. Maxine was born in Emerson, Iowa, on June 15, 1916. She left the farm for Chicago where she met Charles in a church Young Adult group. Church was an integral part of their life. Maxine was a long time member of Colonial Church of Edina. Her passions in life were her family, friends, bridge, painting, sharing her love of food for others, and kindness. A celebration of Maxine's life will be held at Friendship Village in Bloomington, MN, on Wed, Jan. 7 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please support Sharing and Caring Hands.
