Obituary of Donna M Gilstead

Donna M. Gilstead, 88, of Duluth passed away Sunday, January 4th 2015 at Essentia Health Care Center. Donna was born in St. Cloud Mn, April 8th 1926. She earned her G.E.D December 1967. She enjoyed Bowling, Boccee Ball, going to the casino’s and playing cards. She is preceded in death by husband Lyle Gilstead, son Paul, daughter Candice, grandson Chester, brothers Lloyd Opheim, James Walsh, first husband Carl Post. She is survived by daughters Cheryl and Celeste, three grandsons, four granddaughters, two great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters and sisters Pat Ries, Ardell Skur, Lorraine Stokes, and many niece’s and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, January 10th 2015 at the VFW Post 137, 2024 W. Michigan St. Duluth. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
