Obituary of Naomi Guthrie

Naomi Guthrie, 92, of Hermantown, died peacefully on Jan. 5, 2015. Naomi lived most of her life "at the farm", where her parents and family lived before her. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens, feeding the birds and a good cup of coffee. Naomi is preceded in death by her husband Melvin; son Mel and brother Kenneth Johnson. She is survived by daughter Barb Pohl (and family in Alabama); grandchildren, Debbie (Guthrie) Harger, Dale Guthrie (Michelle Simon) and Al Guthrie; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Jared, Trevor, Taylor, Weston, Ryan and Emily and great-great-grandchild, Liam. Special thanks to the Golden Oaks staff. GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14, 2015 with words of prayer at 1 p.m. in Living Stones Fellowship 115 W. Myrtle St., Duluth.
