Obituary of Eli M. Cook

Eli M. Cook, formally of Duluth, passed away Jan. 7, 2015, in Shreveport, La. He was born in Willmar, Minn., Sept. 11, 1992, to Wayne and Bonnie Cook. After graduation, Eli enlisted in The United States Air Force on Jan. 22, 2013. During his service at Barksdale AFB he received numerous awards and achievements. Eli was a source of inspiration and strength to everyone who crossed his path. He was a maintainer, a leader, a brother, a friend, and a son. He loved music, sports, painting, art, and airplanes. He loved his friends and family. He had a special bond with his siblings and grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Bonnie; siblings John of Roseville, Minn., Andrew (Rosa) of Blaine, Minn., Nathan of Duluth, Caleb, of Barksdale AFB, La., Moriah, Isaiah, and Merabbeth, all of Proctor; grandparents Donald and Joyce MacInnes and John and Dorothy Cook, all of Duluth; nieces, Aoife, Vera and Fyrne; many uncles, aunts, cousins; and many friends. VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. service Thursday, Jan. 15, Salem Covenant Church, 339 N. 59th Ave. W., Duluth.
