Obituary of Marion Eugene Slack

Slack, Marion Eugene (Corky) was born on April 3, 1928 in Kingfisher, OK. Corky passed away Wednesday January 7, 2015 at the age of 86. Corky graduated from Kingfisher High School in May 1946 and joined the Navy after graduation. He married Georgia Gleichman May 21, 1947 and had six children. In 1958, he moved with his wife and children to Minnesota and purchased "Corky's Resort." He started painting bridges in 1965 and later formed Slack Painting. Nancy Klipstein and Corky met and shared the last 25+ years together between Chippewa Hills Resort and their home in Crystal, MN. Funeral services will be at Grace Lutheran Church, Brandon MN. Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2 pm.
