Obituary of Warde H. Bernhardt

Bernhardt, Warde H. age 90, passed away January 10th with his family at his side. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Herb and Marie (Goldie), wives, Barbara and Ruth, and son, Douglas H. Survived by sons, Gregg (Tami) and Steve (Gale), 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Warde was a B24 Flight Engineer/ Waist Gunner with the Army Air Force in Europe during WWII, a 37 year employee of Northwestern Bell, and a 7,000+ hour hospital volunteer at Fairview Southdale. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the North Ridge Care Center staff for the compassion and care they provided Warde during his final years. Memorials preferred to donor's choice. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Duluth MN.
