Obituary of Bradley Scott LaForge
Bradley Scott LaForge, age 49, lifelong resident of Duluth, died of natural causes and went to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2015.
He was born August 14, 1965 in Duluth. Bradley attended Duluth East High School but graduated from Superior Senior High School. He then went to Arizona and attended Heating and Air Conditioning School. Bradley worked in Arizona for his uncle. After returning to Duluth he worked at various jobs but for the last several years at the D.E.C.C.
Bradley enjoyed fishing, bicycling, warm days at the beach and cooking for his family, especially making Swedish Pancakes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Elma Kivi, Omar and Bernice LaForge.
Bradley is survived by his parents, Peggy and Douglas Cooke; father Bruce LaForge of AZ; siblings, Chad (Sheri) Cooke, Britten (Ray) Skoglund, Chilon Cooke, all of Duluth, Deseree LaForge and Nicholas LaForge of AZ; nephews and nieces
Kody and Konner Cooke, Kenzie, Kiara and Kaysa Skoglund, Kali Turpin; special Auntie and Godmother Dianne Daley; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bradley was blessed with many close friends, especially his caregiver Jessie and good buddy Dave.
A special thank you from the family to the Duluth Firefighters “1 E” for their extraordinary efforts. Also to the ER medical personel and chaplain Bob of Essentia St. Mary’s.
