Obituary of Wesley L. Hemquist

Wesley L. Hemquist, 91, of Ely, passed away Jan. 26, 2015. Wesley was a World War II Veteran. He and Marie formerly lived in St. Paul Park, Minn., Chisago City, Minn., and Silver Bay before coming to live in Ely the last three and a half years. Wesley is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marie; children Gail (Jim) Peters and Lee (Barb) Hemquist; grandchildren Russ (Sheryl) Peters, Christine (Christopher) Woolhouse, Daniel (Julie Horns) Peters and Melissa (Brenda Giesselmann) Hemquist; and six great-grandchildren.
