Obituary of Faye Peggy Anderson

Faye left this world on January 27 the way she entered it — with spunk and spirit! Born on April 30, 1925 in St. Paul, Faye is survived by children Dolores (Dori) Vaughan of Forest Lake, MN; Peggy (Gary) Fick of Estherville, IA; Steven Anderson of Cypress, TX; and Kathy (Rick) Anderson of Woodbury, MN, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Anderson, and daughter, Connie Duran. Faye was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid sketch artist who loved shopping with her daughters (especially at Herbergers!), bright clothing and jewelry, getting her hair done, manicured nails, high fashion, and Elvis Presley ("I Can't Help Falling in Love with You"). A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, February 2 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota-St Paul Chapel, 1979 Old Hudson Road. Visitation is at 11 a.m. with service at noon. Private interment in Iowa.
