Hempel, Jon (Keith J. Hempel II) 47 yrs young, passed in his home after a 3 year bravely fought battle with brain cancer. Brilliant, respected and proud CEO, president and entrepreneur of Hempel Companies since 2001. Graduate of Hamline University. Extraordinary golfer, skilled captain of the Nothin' More on Lake MTKA, Generous with his love and affection to the loves of his life, his wife and 3 children. His absence has left us with a deep sadness that can only be filled by knowing he is once again made whole by his Father in Heaven who loves him dearly and is watching over those he has left behind. He is survived by his wife, Heidi and children Jackson, Elijah and Della; parents, Keith & Colleen Hempel; siblings, Bridget Titterud, Tobin Hempel, and Lucia Higgins; mother and father in law, Phobe and Ken Harrington; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in law, and dear friends.
