Obituary of James Gordon Merrell

Age 80 Passed away peacefully January 28, 2015 Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Preceded in death by parents Jesse and Iva, in-laws Jack and Mable McClellan, 8 brothers, 5 sisters. Survived by wife of 54 years Mavis "Dee Dee" (McClellan), children Donald (Judy), Debi Thompson, Lynn Jawish (Dave), grandchildren Amy, Jess, Jason, Matt, Andrea, Michelle, Mike and Mark, 6 great grandchildren. Memorial service Saturday Feb. 7, 11am at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3920 N Victoria St. Shoreview, MN. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to Shepherd of the Hills Church or donor's choice. Private interment at a later date.
