Obituary of Mylo Nelson

Nelson, Mylo age 74, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Feb. 2, 2015 after a bout with cancer. He was preceded in death by parents Russ and Myrtle, and brother Elwood. He served in the Navy and married Barb Nelson. He was devoted to his family and held a passion for Beer Can collecting. Survivors include his sons Jerry, his wife Cindy of Mason City, IA, Dave and his wife Patti of Farmington, Dan, and his companion Lisa Spray of Alborn. He treasured two stepchildren, Karen and Joe whom he always considered as his own. Dear to his heart were seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. His sister Annette Swanson of Bonita Springs, FL and brother Lyle Nelson of La Grange, OR survive him. A fellowship reception will be held on Feb 15, at 11:00am at the VFW, 311 W 84th St, Bloomington.
