Obituary of Charles D ‘Chuck’ Willey

Age 83 of St. Paul Passed away on February 3, 2015 Survived by wife of 58 years, Ann; children, Claire, Bruce of Birminham, AL, Blake (Patty) of Victorville, CA, and Andrew; grandchildren, Katelynn and Elizabeth. Prececed in death by parents, Earl and Florence Willey. Born in St. Paul and a proud Eastsider, Chuck was a graduate of Harding High School and the U of M and followed Minnesota sports at all levels, High School, College and Pro, his entire life. While serving in the Army he met the love of his life Ann at a Pentagon bus stop in Washington, DC. Both only children, Chuck and Ann had a wonderful life together with their four children and many friends who became family by choice. Chuck worked in the Ad game, in New York City and the Twin Cities, primarily with 3M and later in life as a freelance writer. Chuck will be remembered for his wonderful culinary skills on and off the grill, his love of history, and above all his ability to craft and tell a great story. A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to the family.
