Obituary of Patricia Marie Kuehnow

Patty passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2018 as the Lord decided to call her home to his heavenly kingdom. She was a lifelong Duluthian Born October 30, 1942. Patty graduated from Denfeld High School and Duluth Area Vocational Technical Institute. She worked as an insurance clerk and secretary for many years. After retirement she volunteered as a Grandma at Lester Park Elementary School, she really enjoyed the time she spent with the children. She enjoyed her walks with her cousin Lucille Priley, going to lunch with the ladies, movies, reading, shopping, crocheting, knitting, and spending time with family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents Thomas and Virginia Madden and two brothers, Richard and Timothy Madden. Patty is survived by four children, Timothy (Jennifer) Kuehnow, Theresa (Scott) Livingood, Kevin (Lynn) Kuehnow, Yvonne (Greg) Swope; Two brothers, Thomas Madden, Terry Madden; Two sisters, Gerri Shock, Ginger Eckman; Eleven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; former spouse Alan Kuehnow; and many family and friends. Patty had a special light and had a way of making everyone feel good. She will be dearly missed. Visitation: 10am until the 11am Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, April 14, in St. Michael's Catholic Church, 4901 E. Superior St., Duluth.
