Obituary of Pauline Ellen Rajala

Rajala, Pauline Ellen (Serbin) Nov. 30, 1918 - Feb. 15, 2015 Coon Rapids, Minnesota Pauline Rajala lived a very productive and 96 happy years. She touched the many lives of her extended family, her co-workers and friends. Pauline was born in Bessemer, Michigan to Julia and John Serbin. She grew up with 14 children in her family. She married John Elmer Rajala and had three children, son John, Danville, CA (Mary Jo, children Kelley and Pete, his wife Kelly and great grand-children Morgan and Chase Rajala), daughters Gail Hayden, Maple Grove (Don, children Jake & Elizabeth Mertes, Anikka Brokken, Vonni and Vince Williams) and Paula Neubauer, Champlin, (Steven, children Grant Jones and Julia and Jennifer Neubauer). Pauline worked all her adult life ending her professional career as the Exec. Secretary for the Pres. of Federal Cartridge Corp. in Anoka, MN. She and her family lived in Coon Rapids for many years. Pauline enjoyed being with her family, attending family sporting events, dancing, belonged to the Anoka Chapter of Eastern Star and the Federated Women's Club of Anoka. She also enjoyed visiting her home of Bessemer and being with her numerous brothers and sisters and their families. Pauline was known for her keen mind and sense of humor. Her loving and tender spirit will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her.
