Obituary of Eleanor J. Morton

Morton, Eleanor J. age 88, formerly of Bloomington, passed away February 16, 2015. Preceded in death by husband of 62 years, David, parents, and brother Lloyd. Valedictorian of Hector High School Class of 1944, and graduate of the University of Minnesota. Long time religious education director and leader in the Unitarian church. Loved family, gardening, music, writing, reading, and traveling the world with Dave. Survived by children, Sally (Erich), Nancy (Bob), Margery (David), and Jimmy; grandchildren Shelly, Andy, Christine, and Mike, 3 great-grandchildren; brothers James (Verna) and William (Doras), sister-in-law Jane, many other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering in her honor will be held on Friday, March 6th, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the MN Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 10715 Zenith Ave. S., Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the church or the Alzheimers Assoc.
