Obituary of Thomas L. Thompson

Thomas L. Thompson, age 70, lifelong resident of South Range joined his loving family Friday, April 6, 2018 peacefully at home with family at his side. He was born October 8, 1947 in Superior to Fred and Violet Thompson. Tom was a veteran on the U.S. Marine Corps having served in Viet Nam. On August 24, 1971 he married Linda L. DeMoure. Tom was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed gardening, planting trees and working on his home. Tom also loved camping, hunting and fishing with his family. He was preceded in death by children, Thomas "Tombo," Tanya and Rachel; his parents; two brothers, Russ and Sonny; five sisters, Rita Alletto, Shirley Missine, Lorraine Thompson, Dotty Goodiel and Jeanie Labonte. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda; children, Troy (Holly) of South Range and Tara (Bryan) Walli of Superior; grandsons, Bruce and Tonae Walli; his brother, Danny of Superior; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will be held in the later in the spring.
