Obituary of Martha E. Kaphingst

Kaphingst, Martha E. Age 95, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully Feb. 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Harold Kaphingst; siblings, twin Martin, Herman, The Rev. Clarence Muske and Adeline Schumacher. Survived by children, Maureen (Loren) Blilie and Lee (Anne) Kaphingst; grandchildren, Kevin (Diane) Erickson, Kristin (Mark) Spangrud, Kimberly (Jorge Contreras), Jeffrey and Karen Kaphingst; great-grandchildren, Erik and Katie Spangrud; siblings, Eleanore Daker, Art and Bill (Hilda) Muske. Martha served along with her husband at churches in Richardton, ND, Avoca, Ceylon, St. Mark in St. Paul, Jeffers and Delavan in MN. Martha and Harold truly enjoyed gardening and table games with their grandchildren. Memorial service 11 AM Sat., Feb. 28 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 301 Co. Rd. 19, Excelsior, MN. Visitation 10 AM. Private interment Litchfield, MN. Memorials preferred to St. Mark Lutheran Church Fire Fund.
