Obituary of Eleanor Cecilia Speltz

Speltz, Eleanor Cecelia 6/12/1924 - 2/18/2015 Born Minneapolis, MN to Catherine and Martin Yeager. Graduated Old St. Anthony High School and Minneapolis School of Business. Pre-deceased by husband Vern A. Speltz. Survived by sons Greg, Paul, Martin, and John (Honey Marie); grandchildren Stacie, Christopher, and Lindsay; great-granddaughter Bailey; including step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Frank Yaeger (Ruth); brother-in-law Everett Speltz (Barbara); sisters-in-law Harriet Glubka, Violet Reynolds, Dixie Speltz; nieces and nephews. Eleanor had a great love for her family and was a long time active member of St. Leonard of Port Maurice Catholic Church, her favorite duty being that of Eucharistic Minister. Memorial service to be held at 10 AM, Friday 2/27 at St. Leonard of Port Maurice Catholic Church, 3949 Clinton Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN. Reception follows in church dining room. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Eleanor prefers memorials to St Leonard of Port Maurice or to United Blind of Mn Inc.
