Obituary of Sophie Sawicki

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great- Grandmother Sophie was born on August 5th, 1915 in Clayton WI to John and Mary Sterbonic. She died on Feb 19, 2015, at age 99. Preceded in death by husband Leo; grandson John; brothers Fred, Alex, Mike, Bill, John; sisters Anna, Mary, Ann. Survived by children, Leo (Barbara) Sawicki, Colleen (Bob) Rogers, and Carolyn (Jerry) Jacobs; brother Peter Sterbonic; grandchildren, Lee Ann (Mike) Vance, BethAnn (Gregg) Anderson, Mark (Christy) Rogers, and Sara (Tom) Keil. Great grandchildren Matt (Brianna) Vance, Nathan Vance, Emma Vance, Brandon Keil, Megan Keil, Joshua Rogers, Kellyn Rogers, Henrik Anderson and two great, great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 1st, at 2:00pm in Lyngblomsten Chapel, 1415 Almond Ave., St. Paul, with a visitation one hour before. Memorials preferred to Lyngblomsten Foundation, Como Park Lutheran Church or YWCA (housing & services).
