Age 64, of Woodbury MN Passed away suddenly on February 20, 2015. He was preceded in death by his hero and father, John "Jack", mother Rosemary, sister Ann, brother William and stepson Aaron. Joe was the loved and loving husband to Mary Kay Shannon, father to Christopher Salscheider of Minneapolis and Jamie Salscheider of Hudson, Wisconsin and grandfather to Samantha, Taylor, Sonja and Chace. Beloved brother to Mary Bergene (John) Arden Hills, MN, Katherine Schultz (David), St. Paul, MN and Meg Capra-Bader (Tom), Stillwater, MN as well as the treasured "Uncle Joe" to Andrea, Jackie, Jennifer, Nikki, Alison, William, Bridget, Jeff, Joe, Andrew, Mackenzie, Morgan and Isabella. His presence will be painfully missed by those who knew and loved him. A ceremony in honor of Joe will be held on Friday, February 27th at the First Memorial Funeral Chapel at 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul, MN (651) 789-0404. Visitation will begin at 10am with a remembrance service at 11am and lunch to follow. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
