Obituary of Doris Hansen

Doris J (Brekke) Hansen Doris Jean (Brekke) Hansen, age 90, formerly of Fargo, ND, died on February 26, 2015 at Augustana Emerald Crest in Burnsville, MN. Doris was born on March 4, 1924 in Ridgeway, IA to Anton and Alice Brekke. The Brekke family moved to West Fargo in 1936. Doris attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN graduating with a degree in Business Education. She married Richard (Dick) W. Hansen on May 22, 1949 in Moorhead, MN. Together, they lived in many cities throughout the country before finally transferring to Fargo in 1972. In 2005, Doris moved to Burnsville, MN to be near her children. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Don Brekke; sister, Muriel Sullivan. Survived by her two sons Rick Hansen (Alyce); and Tim Hansen; two daughters, Alice Nielsen; and Connie (Daniel) Wang; six grandchildren.
